Information we collect
We collect only the information you submit through our enquiry form or provide by phone, WhatsApp, Viber or email: your name or company name, contact details and shipment information.
Purposes and legal basis
We use your information to respond to enquiries and prepare quotations (steps taken prior to entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, where applicable, based on your consent.
Data retention
Enquiries that do not result in a business relationship are deleted within 12 months at the latest. Customer information is retained for as long as required by applicable accounting and other legal obligations.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for marketing. If you contact us through WhatsApp or Viber, the privacy terms of those services also apply to that communication.
Cookies and form protection
We use the functional lmi_lang cookie to remember your selected language (for up to 12 months) and the lmi_sid session cookie for form security, CSRF protection and spam prevention. The session cookie normally expires when you close your browser. Your acknowledgement of the cookie notice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage: lmi_cookie_notice) until you clear site data. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. The form also uses a hidden field, a simple arithmetic check and rate limiting. To prevent abuse, a hashed value of an IP address may be stored temporarily on the server.
External services and content
When you open external links or contact us through third-party services, their respective privacy policies apply. We use system fonts and do not connect to external font services.
Your rights
You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing and, where applicable, withdraw your consent. Contact us at info@lmicargo.hr. You may also lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
